Tuesday Morning                   

The word benign is sometimes used in a dismissive way.

Ineffectual. Nonthreatening. Unimportant. “Won’t hurt you.”

But when you are waiting for the results of your breast biopsy.

It is the most beautiful word in the world.

Not cancer. Not deadly. Not threatening. 

Can’t hurt you.

Amen
